Air Compressor refers to the machinery used to compress air to increase gas pressure. It is mainly used in the fields of iron and steel, electric power, metallurgy, shipbuilding, textile, electronics, chemical industry, oil and gas, mining, light industry, machinery manufacturing, paper masking and printing, transportation facilities, food and medicine, casting and spraying, shipping terminal, military science and technology, automobile industry, aerospace and infrastructure, etc. To supply power for different tools, transportation, lifting and grabbing equipment.
The life cost of air compressor includes purchase, electricity consumption, maintenance, repair, etc. The electricity consumption accounts for about70~80% of the total cost, and it is one of the high energy-consuming equipment in the factory, accounting for more than 10% of industrial electricity consumption.
The international standard air pressure adopts Isentropic Efficiency, and set the qualified efficiency standard value (minimum energy efficiency benchmark), which requires the air compressor to pass the standard, and the isentropic efficiency value (such as 80) and energy efficiency grade (Grade1, Grade2, &Grade 3) are marked on the metal nameplate of the air compressor. The higher the isentropic efficiency, the better the energy efficiency, the more electricity and energy saving. Grade 1 is the best, followed by Grade 2, and Grade 3 is the worst among the energy efficiency.
