Check Regularly- Air Compressor Oil Filter Element
Air Compressor Oil Filter Element Replacement
- Press the stop button.
- Cut off the main power supply.
- Close the stop valve on the exhaust side.
- Open the front panel door and wait for the inside pressure gauge of oil separator down to 0MPa.
- Prepare the tray for receiving lubricating oil.
- Remove the left cover plate.
- Confirm that the oil position of oil level gauge is below the center of the oil filter. (The oil will be discharged from oil tank drain when the oil position above the center).
- Loosen and remove the oil filter with a filter wrench.
- Apply lubricating oil to the washer of the new oil filter element, then install on the air compressor.
- Do not use tools such as wrenches, only use by hand to install filter element.
Notice:
- Tightening the oil filter element with a filter wrench or pipe wrench will deform or damage the housing of the element, leading to oil leakage or rupture of the oil filter, which must be tightened by hand.
- Oil filter blockage will reduce the amount of oil supplied to the compressor, make the exhaust temperature rise, the exhaust temperature relay starts, and the compressor stop.
- In addition, insufficient lubrication of beings may cause compressor failure.
- Be sure to replace the oil filter element regularly.
- The lubricating oil, oil filter element and surrounding pipes just after shutdown are hot, so be careful not burn them.
